The conventional polyester–cotton (PC) dyeing process used in many dye houses consumes large amounts of water, energy, and time due to reduction clearing and multiple washing steps. Starcosoap PCS offers an optimized solution by replacing these steps with a single effective washing-off stage. This process removes unfixed disperse and reactive dyes simultaneously, maintaining excellent shade quality and fastness. As a result, dyeing units can reduce water and energy consumption by about 25–30% while increasing production efficiency. The solution helps textile processors operate more sustainably within existing water and environmental limits.
The Problem
Most dye houses in Ludhiana follow a conventional two-stage PC dyeing process that looks like this:
- Polyester Dyeing – at 130°C
- Reduction Clearing (R.C.) – at 90°C for 20 minutes
- Drain + Hot Wash + Cold Wash
- Cotton Dyeing
- Multiple Washes (Hot + Cold)
- Neutralization and Soaping
- Final Washes and Dye Fixing
